Golden Hour Glow: Ellie’s Aquinas College Graduation Session in Grand Rapids
There’s something so powerful about celebrating the end of one chapter and the beginning of the next—especially when it’s done in golden light, with the city skyline behind you.
Ellie graduated from Aquinas College, and to mark this incredible milestone, we headed to the iconic Blue Bridge in downtown Grand Rapids. As the sun dipped lower, the light was nothing short of magical—casting a warm glow that perfectly matched Ellie’s radiant spirit.
Wearing her cap and gown (and the biggest, most genuine smile), Ellie was the picture of joy, confidence, and accomplishment. Whether she was strolling across the bridge, tossing her cap, or laughing between shots, every photo captured her excitement and pride in this moment.
We paused for a few quiet portraits along the river, letting the light do its thing while Ellie soaked in the evening. The soft golden hour tones and vibrant blue of the bridge made for the perfect backdrop to celebrate her hard work and bright future.
